Ackermann Maple Farm

Ian and Caitlin Ackermann have been making sustainably produced maple products in the hills of Cabot, Vermont, since 2013. They make 100% pure Vermont maple syrup, maple cream and maple sugar, as well as infused and barrel aged syrups from the trees on their land.

As a way of being as sustainable as possible they still use an old-fashioned wood fire to boil their sap, and use glass bottles to showcase their pure maple syrup. They plan to teach their two young sons the ways of making maple products, and some day pass down their family business.
