Do you eat food every day?
Do you care about what you eat and where it comes from?
We sure do.
For the past 12 years we have printed and distributed Edible Boston for free around the eastern Commonwealth. You've read our pages and enjoyed the in-depth policy articles, stunning photography and accessible, locally focused recipes; perhaps you've even collected back issues, referring to them to find independent businesses or programs we've featured over our 50 seasons in print.
But perhaps you didn't know that—until now—we've relied solely on the local food community to support our mission through their advertising dollars, printing only as many pages and copies as each season's ad funding could cover.
In 2017 we joined forces with Let's Talk About Food and formed The Food Voice, New England's new hub for all things food, a fresh and unified voice for the progressive food movement. Now we're the only nonprofit major media platform in the region to be singularly dedicated to covering food in a mindful, deep, provocative and delicious way, making it easy and fun for you to stay involved and up-to-date on what’s going on with food in New England in print, digitally, in person and by audio.
So how can you help us maintain our quality publication, increase our visibility and transform our digital platforms to take our mission into the future?
Well, you can always subscribe to Edible Boston, ensuring a copy arrives in your mailbox each and every season, so you'll never miss an issue. But you can also go further by supporting our mission with an individual tax-deductible donation in any amount, knowing that your gift helps fund writers, illustrators, photographers and the tangible, tactile paper magazine you know and love. The support of our readers means Edible Boston will be robust and in print for years to come. Thank you!
